doreen-langdon-19-9-16-2There are circumstances in life where a couple may wish to publicly declare their love for one another and their desire to share in one another’s lives but are either unable or not wanting to do it through a formal wedding ceremony.

Until laws are changed in Australia, this ceremony is ideal for those in, for example, same sex relationships. This ceremony is to all intents & purposes identical to the wedding ceremony but with the omission of the legal vows and the monitum (required to be recited by a Celebrant to legalise a marriage union).

This ceremony is conducted tastefully and with the sincerity of the wedding ceremony.

As your celebrant I would meet with you at least once to prepare a Commitment Ceremony. However if that is not possible, a beautiful ceremony can be created as a result of liaison over the phone and by email.

On the day I will arrive early to meet with you & family before the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony you will be provided with a keepsake booklet & a special Commitment Ceremony Certificate.

Thank you for a wonderful ceremony. You made the whole process easy. The ceremony was wonderful and memorable.
